This paper demonstrates a neutrosophic inventory control problem with immediate return for deficient items by employing two types of neutrosophic numbers, namely triangular neutrosophic number and trapezoidal neutrosophic number. The neutrosophic perfective rate, neutrosophic demand rate and neutrosophic purchasing cost are fuzzified as triangular neutrosophic numbers and trapezoidal neutrosophic numbers are also furnished. The optimum order quantity is acquired in neutrosophic sense with the assist of median rule. The proposed model is illustrated with appropriate instance.

This paper analyzes the reliability of serial network systems. Two probabilistic models are discussed in this paper. Model I is a serial network device consisting of three A, B and C subsystems, with a C subsystem consisting of three out of six elements. Model II is a serial network system consisting of three subsystems A, B and C, with subsystem C consisting of 2-out-of-6 components. The failure and repair time of the running and standby components is believed to be exponentially distributed. The system of first-order linear differential equations is developed and resolved to obtain explicit expressions for steady-state availability and mean failure time for each model. In addition, both numerical and theoretical comparisons were conducted. Results have shown that Model II was the best in terms of availability, mean time failure and cost benefit ratio

Abstract Iranian recycling industries deal with generating lots of new materials and products. The value added to the national assets is impressive by the industries. The present research collected the initial data of recycling industries based on assessments completed by the evaluator team in the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA). The objective of the current study was allocated to develop a new classification for recycling industries. The industries classified with regard to input and output networks introduced into industries cycles that were picked up from the screening step of projects in EIA. To classify the industries was employed Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) models along with Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) in combination with Additive Ratio Assessment (ARAS) model. The industries were ranked based on the materials and energy streams. The weighing system of CRiteria Importance Through Intercriteria Correlation (CRITIC) was used to conduct the special vector into ranking systems. Findings confirmed full coincidence and compliance among 6 MCDM models applied as a sensitivity analysis. It can be concluded that the Nominal Capacity (NC) of industries plays the main role to sort out all recycling industries into a certain class and place them in a separate class pertain to energy and materials streams.

Mathematics has been applied to all sciences; and religious and military sciences are no exception, and mathematics can be used highly to design different war operations and solve battlefield equations to gain relative or absolute superiority over the enemy. We can also see clearly the application of mathematics in the Game Theory of war in abundance. In this applied research, conducted in a library method, the challenges between the army of Amir al-Mu’minin, ʿAlī ibn Abī Ṭālib (as) and the army of Muʿāwiya ibn Abī Sufyān in the Battle of Siffin have been modeled using Game Theory and the strategies of each of these two fronts are compared. Finally, in order to examine the war utility, we seek to find the strategic equilibrium point between them. So, we obtain and discuss the utility function for each party's set of strategies in the battle of Siffin.

In the literature, there are various types of assembly line balancing problems. Consequently, different types of solution approaches such as exact, heuristic, and metaheuristics have been proposed to solve such problems. In this research, we are going to propose a metaheuristic solution method based on applied grouping evolution strategies to solve the u-shaped assembly line balancing problem where the aim is the minimization of the number of workstations considering a given cycle time for the assembly line. By introducing the just-in-time (JIT) production principle, it can be proven that the U-shaped assembly line system has a better performance than the traditional straight-line system. Different test problems from the literature are solved and key indexes like the line efficiency, smoothness index, and variation, are calculated for the problems. Then the proposed method is compared to one of the recent solutions approached based on the genetic algorithm. The results show that the proposed method has the potential t be considered as one of the most efficient methods in this field.

One of the most important concepts to resolve more complexities is the spherical cubic fuzzy set (SCFS) than the intuitionistic cubic fuzzy set, the Pythagorean cubic fuzzy set, and therefore its implementations are more extensive. The purpose of this article is to present the operational laws of the SCFS by taking into account the characteristics and significance of the SCFS. A number of new aggregation operators are defined as spherical cubic fuzzy weighted averaging operator, spherical cubic fuzzy ordered weighted averaging operator, spherical cubic fuzzy hybrid weighted averaging operator, using fundamental laws to aggregate the spherical cubic details. Subsequently, we present a multi-attribute decision-making method based on the proposed weighted average aggregation operators and explain the acceptable choice of supplier as a real-life problem to verify it with a numerical example. A comparative analysis is also being carried out to demonstrate the superiority of the proposed method.

Decision making is becoming one of the most vast research fields in medical science. Since last few years, the role of distance measure utilizing fuzzy sets in decision science has been significantly increased. A lot of studies have been carried out form the field of fuzzy decision making using distance measures. In this paper, Linguistic Pythagorean fuzzy sets have been utilized medical diagnosis problem. In addition, a novel distance measure on Linguistic Pythagorean fuzzy sets has been introduced and utilized in a fuzzy MCDM approach. Also, a case study is carried out in real data sets to show the usability and reliability of our proposed distance measure
