In mathematical programming different types of cuts have been developed in the past to get an integer value of the decision variables. In this paper, we have developed a new integer cut for getting an integer solution of the fractional linear programming problem (FLPP). This technique allows the decision-maker to solve the formulated FLPP to be conveniently using the Branch and Bound approach in order to achieve the optimum final solution. Induced aggregation operators are more suitable for aggregating the individual preference relations into a collective fuzzy preference relation. Therefore the focus of our this paper is to develop some induced generalized aggregation operators using interval-valued Pythagorean fuzzy numbers, such as induced generalized interval-valued Pythagorean fuzzy ordered weighted averaging (I-GIVPFOWA) operator, induced generalized interval-valued Pythagorean fuzzy hybrid averaging (I-GIVPFHA) operator. Some desirable properties, such as idempotency, boundedness, and monotonicity corresponding to the proposed operators have been investigated. The main advantage of the proposed operators is that these operators are able to reflect the complex attitudinal character of the decision-maker using order inducing variables and provide much more complete information for decision-making. Furthermore, these operators are applied to decision-making problems in which experts provide their preferences in the Pythagorean fuzzy environment to show the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the new approach.Estimation of electrical energy consumption in Tamil Nadu using univariate time-series analysis

In this paper, Distinctive Univariate methods of forecasting Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA), ETS, Holt's model, Holt Winter's Additive model, Simple exponential model was used to figure forecast models of the power consumption in Tamil Nadu. The goal is to look at the presentation of these five methodologies and the experimental information utilized in this investigation was data from previous years for the monthly power consumption in Tamil Nadu from 2012 to 2020. The outcomes show that the ARIMA model diminished the MAPE value to 5.9097%, while those of ETS, Holt's Model, Holt winter's technique, SES is 6.3451%, 9.7708%, 7.3439%, and 9.5305% separately. Recently, there has been an increasing utilization of distributed generators (DGs) in electric power systems not only to supply the demand power of the grid but also to enhance the power quality. In this paper, a new control scheme is proposed for optimization of voltage unbalance compensation in an autonomous microgrid. Adaptive fuzzy PI controller (AFPIC) is applied to a voltage compensation loop which modifies the droop control based inverter reference voltage. Virtual impedance loop is used to enhance the operation of droop control. Voltage unbalance factor (VUF) is calculated by positive and negative sequence components of the output voltage and compared with the maximum threshold. Second-order generalized integrator (SOGI) is used to extract the voltage positive and negative sequence. In the proposed method, microgrid has the dynamic potential of decreasing the VUF below the standard value in all kinds of load conditions while the conventional methods are designed only for a specific load operating point. Proper voltage regulation is also satisfied by back to back embedded voltage and current controllers. A sample microgrid is analyzed in presence of single phase unbalanced load and Matlab simulation results are given to show the effectiveness of the proposed controller.Machine learning approaches to mental stress detection: a review

An operating unit sometimes cannot be replaced at the exact optimum replacement time for some reasons. The unit may be rather replaced at idle times, such as a day, a week, a month, a year and so on. So to address such problem of replacing a unit at idle times, this paper come up with a discounted discrete scheduled replacement model for a unit. It is assumed that the replacement is at scheduled times NT(N=1,2,3,&hellip;) for a fixed T&gt;0, such that the model constructed involves minimal repair and discounting rate (&prop; &gt;0). The unit considered in this paper is subjected to three categories of failures, which are Category I, Category II and Category III failures. Category I failure is an un-repairable one, which occurs suddenly. While Category II and Category III failures are both repairable, which occurs due to time and usage, and the two failures are minimally repaired. Thirty samples of groundwater from various locations in the district of Jaen were obtained and analysed for drinking and other domestic purposes. Twelve physical and chemical (physicochemical) groundwater quality parameters such as electrical conductivity (EC), pH, total dissolved solid (TDS), total hardness (TH), calcium (Ca), magnesium (Mg), nitrate (NO3), potassium (K), zinc (Zn), chromium (Cr), copper (Cu) and Manganese (Mn). An attempt was made in this paper to assess and estimate groundwater elements on the basis of regression analysis. Using a correlation matrix to classify strongly correlated water quality parameters, Pearson&#039;s correlation coefficient (r) values are calculated. EC and TDS; Ca and Mg are highly correlated but not perfect. The results show significant correlation between NO3 and Zn (r=0.660), Cr and Cu (r=0.635), NO3 and Cu (r=0.492), TH and Cr (r=0.471), TH and Mg (r=0.452), pH and Mn (r=0.430), TH and Ca (r=0.423), pH and K (r=0.413), Cr and Mn (r=0.408), indicate the increase in the pollution load due to industrial and anthropogenic activities. All water variables in this study are significant at 1% and 5% level of confidence. The aim of this research is to demonstrate the use of concept of stable matching in graph theory to solve assignment problem of operation research. In assignment problem, objective is to assign m resources or m persons to n activities or n jobs with taking values of m and n same on one to one basis at a minimum cost or time, or at maximum profit; whereas matching in a graph is set of edges where no two edges share a common vertex and stable matching in a graph is basically a collection of stable marriages of m men and n women with taking values of m and n as same, where men and women are vertices in a graph. This paper solves an assignment problem by Hungarian assignment method which is a method of operation research. And also it employs an existing algorithm of finding stable matching in graph theory in a new way namely, stable assignment method to solve assignment problem of operation research. Also the solutions by both the methods have been compared. This paper investigated the properties of discrete scheduled replacement model for a series-parallel system. The system have three subsystems, which are subsystems A, B and C. Subsystem A is having three parallel units, subsystem B is having a single unit, and subsystem C is having two parallel units. In this paper, it is assumed that, the system is subjected to two categories of failures, which are Category I and Category II failures. The mathematical expression of the reliability function is used in constructing the discrete scheduled replacement model for a series- parallel system, based on some assumptions. For the multiple attribute group decision making problems where attribute values are the interval-valued Pythagorean fuzzy numbers, the group decision making method based on some generalized Einstein aggregation operators is developed. Firstly, induced generalized interval-valued Pythagorean fuzzy Einstein ordered weighted averaging (I-GIVPFEOWA) aggregation operator and induced generalized interval-valued Pythagorean fuzzy Einstein hybrid averaging (I-GIVPFEHA) aggregation operator, were proposed. Some general properties of these operators, such as idempotency, commutativity, monotonicity and boundedness, were discussed, and some special cases in these operators were analyzed. Furthermore, the method for multiple attribute group decision making problems based on these operators was developed, and the operational processes were illustrated in detail. The main advantage of using the proposed methods and operators is that these operators and methods give a more complete view of the problem to the decision makers. The present paper analyses the inflation-based inventory model and time-varying demand. The developed model considers the lifetime constraints taken into account. However, such types of models require inventory data, to determine the optimal ordering policy and minimize the total inventory cost. In this study, we assume two cases: in the first case takes no shortages and in the second case, shortages are partially backlogged. We investigate the order quantity and integrated the expected total inventory cost. The proposed inventory model with and without shortages shown the relation between total optimal inventory costs with involved parameters that will give a described contribution to the optimum situation for the sessional product. Optimization techniques is a valuable function for all engineering and science problem around the world. In the last few decades, chaotic maps have played a vital role in solving numerous applications of engineering and science. This article deals with a review of the optimal behaviour of chaotic maps with traffic control models using superior Mann fixed point iterative procedure. Due to the presence of a higher convergence rate, the Mann procedure gives better optimization results in traffic control models. Further, it is observed that the Mann procedure has an additional degree of freedom of the control constraint &alpha; that gives more stability behaviour in chaotic maps. The present paper focus on the performance evaluation of an active dissimilar parallel system. The system has two parallel active units. Two repair service stations are set aside to handle unit failure. At failure of a unit, the service station will engage in the repair of the failed unit. The repair machines are systems themselves that are bound to fail. The system of linear differential difference equation is analyzed to obtained expressions of reliability measures of determining the strength of system such as availability, mean time to failure (MTTF) and profit function. Numerical examples such as surface plots and sensitivity analysis are presented to illustrate the obtained results and to analyze the effect of various system parameters. On the basis of numerical experiments, it is observed that the system&rsquo;s best availability, MTTF and profit results may be achieved on a regular basis when repair machines are deployed.Quadripartitioned Single-Valued Neutrosophic Parameterized Soft Sets and Their Applications in Decision Making

The single-valued neutrosophic set (SVNS) is developed to tackle indeterminacy involve in various problems that we encounter in the real world. The SVNS is characterized by the three independent membership functions namely the truth-membership, indeterminacy-membership, and the falsity-membership functions. Then the SVNS is further generalized by introducing the quadripartitioned single-valued neutrosophic set(QSVNS) in which the indeterminacy component is divided into two parts called contradiction and uncertainty. On the other hand, the soft set (SS) theory is introduced to model uncertainty parametrically and it is free from setting the membership function. The main purpose to present this paper is to introduce the notion of quadripartitioned single-valued parameterized soft sets(QSVPSSs) as an extension of neutrosophic parameterized soft sets(NPSSs), proposed by Broumi et al. in 2014. Then we define various set-theoretic operations and obtain new results on QSVPSSs. Also, we propose a decision-making algorithm under the QSVPSS environment. In the end, we give a practical application of the proposed algorithm.
